Welcome to the Edgar A. Thronson Library, which provides access to a collection of art and design related books, videos and journals. Materials in the collection are selected primarily for their ability to support and supplement the curriculum’s intellectual and artistic goals, with particularly strong collections in animation, art history, fine arts, graphic design, illustration, interior design and photography. Access to the library’s collection is provided through the library’s online catalog, which can be accessed at www.dcad.edu/library and by visiting the library in person. The library is open more than 50 hours a week, including evening and weekends, insuring students have ample opportunity to utilize these resources.
